So, you get your cellphone bill and expect the regular bill amount, only to open the envelope or the email and step back to see your bill isn't supposed to be this high!!!!
You query the bill to customer services and get that you've gone over your minutes, your data usage was extremely high or that you've been texting more than the norm.
There are sooo many apps out there to monitor phone usage, right now I'm only going to highlight three, one for each platform. (Blackberry, Android and iPhone)
Cell Manager
Cell Manager is a complete BlackBerry® Usage Monitoring, Reporting, and Analytics app to help you control costs. Block any unwanted calls! Track billable time from work for auditing! Track your daytime, evening, weekend and long distance minutes conveniently from your BlackBerry® at no cost. Track your data usage against your data plan and your incoming, outgoing and long distance text messages against your messaging plan. You will now be alerted when you are close to exceeding your wireless plan and incurring additional fees. You will now be able to track to the dollar every additional fee to prevent surprising, outrageous wireless bills at the end of your billing period. Screenshot below.
